1. A photographer from the 1800's
Louis-Auguste Bisson & Auguste-Rosalie Bisson
 

 

Brothers, both born in France around the 1820's they were very well known for their photo studio in Paris, La Madeline. They used the Collodion process to make their photographs, and they were the first ones to take pictures of Mont Blanc. I enjoy their photography because its landscapes, and they have the rustic look to them, old black and white.

2. A photographer from 1900-1950.

Louise, was born in November 19th 1985, was born in California. She attended the California School of Fine Arts for six years. I like her photography because I enjoy fashion, and she is fashion photographer. She was a photographer for periodicals (magazines) for Vogue, and other big magazines. 
3. A photographer from 1951-1990
Manuel Alvarez Bravo

Manuel started taking pictures in the 1920's and continued throughout the the Mexican Revolution. His photos got my attention because they are in rural areas in Mexico, places that look like what my parents grew up in, which is kind of reminiscent in a way. 

4. A photographer from 1991-2000
Herb Ritts

Herb Ritts photographs people, and people in fashion, and celebrities. He is known for taking pictures of Madonna and Michael Jackson. His photographs caught my attention because he photographs celebrities. 


5. A photographer from 2001-present

Constantine Manos

Constantine's photography caught my because of the color and how the subject of the photograph is drowned out by the color, and the focus goes from the subject to the colors around them.
